Wolves winger Adama Traore is expected to leave the Molineux club this summer, according to Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor.

The £25.2m-rated attacker spent the second half of this season on loan at boyhood club Barcelona, but he is set to return to the Midlands before a decision will be made on his future.

What’s the latest news involving Traore?

Traore might be on his way back to Wolves, although he doesn’t appear to have much of a future under Bruno Lage.

Not only did he start just six of the last 16 Premier League matches prior to his January move to the Nou Camp, but he’s about to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Wolves, who’ll surely be looking to flog him in the next window.

But while Fabrizio Romano believes that Traore’s future ‘will be decided soon,’ the transfer insider reported that Barcelona won’t trigger the option to sign the Spain international.

Regardless, Taylor is confident the 26-year-old will be sold in some capacity in the months ahead.

What did Taylor say about Traore?

He told GIVEMESPORT: “Adama is going to come back, but I expect him to be moved on, so there is a chance that changes could happen.

“We will see what happens with Neves as well. Wolves want to keep him, but if a big offer arrives, that might give them the spending power to make two or three additions.”

Was Traore’s loan move to Barcelona a success?

Having left without a single goal in his 17 appearances or a trophy to his name, Traore’s switch back to the Nou Camp ultimately proved a disappointing one.

He initially got off to a flyer, chipping in with four assists in his first four appearances, two of which came in the 4-2 victory over Napoli to help the La Liga giants reach the last 16 of the Europa League.
