Tottenham Hotspur reportedly beat Chelsea to win the race to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic on a free transfer.
Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic has reportedly agreed to sign for Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer.
The Croatia international has been contracted to the Italian giants since 2015, contributing 55 goals and 49 assists from his 254 appearances in all competitions.
However, despite remaining as a regular in the starting lineup this season, the 33-year-old has failed to agree fresh terms with Inter, owing to their current financial issues.
Spurs – managed by Perisic’s former Inter boss Antonio Conte – and Chelsea are known to have been monitoring the situation, Perisic a perfect addition to teams who plays with wing-backs and requires different options in the final third.
