Every time he gets the chance, Laporta makes some reference to the Argentine. And Messi doesn’t like that. Neither does Jorge Messi, who a few days ago called the president to tell him to stop talking about his son, as Spanish journalist Manu Carreno has revealed.
Jorge Messi contacted Laporta so that he would stop mentioning his son in every interview, as they look to try and close that chapter, says Marca.
One of the things that hurts Messi the most is that the door is always being left open for his return, when in fact it is impossible for the time being and it looks like it will be impossible as long as Laporta is the president, because their relationship is not at its best.
Messi was hurt and felt somewhat cheated by Laporta when he left Barcelona, as the Catalan president kept telling him that he wanted to renew his contract throughout the election campaign and the beginning of his mandate.
Everything seemed to be in place until the day before they put pen to paper, as Laporta told Messi that he had to leave. It was a blow for the Argentine, who assumed that he would be staying in Catalonia.
From then on, far from letting the wound heal, Laporta has constantly talked about Messi in every interview. And he has given quite a few.
