According to AS, Dembele has officially told the Barcelona board that he will not be signing a new contract and will instead depart on a free transfer – five years after joining for an initial fee of £96million.

The France star has also packed up his belongings at his house in Spain and put the property on the market as he prepares for a potential move to Paris.

Kylian Mbappe, who is now said to have some say over PSG’s transfers, is reportedly keen for Dembele to join the Ligue 1 champions.

Reports claim that Mbappe would like to see his international team-mate line up in PSG’s front three alongside himself and Lionel Messi.
