Manchester United are set to replicate an Ole Gunnar Solskjaer transfer plan this winter.

The Red Devils have moved Cristiano Ronaldo on from Old Trafford, terminating his contract after he criticised the club and manager Erik ten Hag in an unsanctioned interview.

Per The Mail, United will not spend big money on a striker replacement in January.

Instead, they will take a leaf out of Solskjaer’s book, who secured Odion Ighalo on loan midway through the 2019-2020 season, when his side lacked firepower up front.
