Raheem Sterling’s future at Man City is up in the air as he considers whether to stay at the Etihad Stadium next season, according to reports.

The England international joined the Citizens in July 2015 for £49m from Liverpool and has gone on to win four Premier League titles, an FA Cup and four League Cups.

During his seven seasons at Man City, Sterling has scored 131 goals in 339 appearances in all competitions with 17 goals in 47 matches this term.

“I think that’s the most important thing. At this period, I think it would be selfish of me to speak of any contract situation. I’m just happy to be playing football and see where we are at the end of the season.”

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been linked with Sterling in recent months with Real apparently hoping to land him after failing to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer.

Speaking last month, former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino said that Sterling had played better than Liverpool star Mo Salah this season.

“Raheem Sterling has just been frightening. The year he has had since the Euros – he was brilliant then,” Cascarino told talkSPORT.

“This season, I thought, when they signed Jack Grealish I though Raheem might be a bit part player in this City team but he’s become an absolute permanent fixture. Left or right, h…
