Liverpool chairman warns Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham of Jurgen Klopp’s ‘culture of winning’

Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has warned Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham ahead of the summer transfer window. In an exclusive interview with our sister site the Liverpool Echo, the 72-year-old hinted that Jurgen Klopp is ready to create a dynasty at Anfield through his “culture of winning.”

The Reds have enjoyed a fruitful spell under the German boss’ stewardship in recent years, with neither of London’s clubs finishing above Liverpool in the Premier League for four successive seasons. Arming Klopp with tactically astute and financially sensible signings, Liverpool have gone from strength to strength, with only Manchester City in their way.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all eager to narrow the gulf in class, with all of those sides reportedly likely to spend big this summer. As per the Telegraph, failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League won’t prevent Arsenal from investing heavily in the first-team squad this summer.

And, with the new ownership group eager to bolster the Blues armoury, The Telegraph indicate that, after player sales are taken into account, Thomas Tuchel is set to have £200million at his disposal to strengthen his side.
