Kessie transfer stance

Chelsea have been handed a blow in their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie as his manager Xavi revealed his stance on a transfer exit. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, the Spaniard said: “I’ve never considered Kessie’s departure. Kessie is a player I like, he gives us many variants in a game and he can be really important.”

Gusto personal terms agreed

football.london understands that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Lyon youngster Malo Gusto over a move to west London this January. The Blues are eyeing the young full-back as an option for the future as well as a rotation option for Reece James, having failed to find one in the previous window.
