Arsenal open direct contact for Youri Tielemans

Arsenal have opened direct contact with Youri Tielemans over a move to the Emirates this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Belgian midfielder is out of contract at the end of next season, opening the possibility of a transfer.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has claimed that young defender William Saliba “has to” return to the club this summer following his loan spell at Marseille. It comes amid transfer links with a move away in the upcoming window.

Individually, the 21-year-old won the Ligue 1’s Young Player of the Season, while as a collective, he helped guide Les Olympiens to second in the league and a guaranteed Champions League spot.
