Arsenal are edging towards the signing of Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus this summer, according to reports, despite late interest from north London rivals Tottenham. It comes ahead of a huge summer for the Gunners as they prepare for next season.

While the campaign just passed has seen plenty of progress from Mikel Arteta and his squad, they failed to capitalise on their advantage to secure Champions League, settling for Europa League instead. The Brazilian is entering his final year under contract at the Etihad, and with the World Cup later this year, will almost certainly be pushing for a place in the Brazil squad. A move away could help those chances, with the Gunners the most heavily rumoured, while north London rivals Tottenham have joined in their interest.
