Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to be made available for transfer away from the club this summer after falling down the pecking order the last two seasons, according to fresh reports.

The attacking midfielder has played 30 league games in the last 76, and with the likes of Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott emerging as options, the 28-year-old is reportedly keen on moving on, The Mirror has reported.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has had some thinking to do about his future as he enters his peak playing years, and with one year left on his deal, Liverpool may be keen to move him on for a fee.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been unfortunate with his time at Liverpool so far. While there have been some vital goals and huge moments, he suffered a serious knee injury in the Champions League semi-final against Roma in 2018, which effectively took almost two years of his career away and also stopped him in his tracks as he was in the form of his life in his first season with the Reds.
